Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd star in A24’s Death of a Unicorn, a dark comedy fantasy about a unicorn with miraculous powers. Directed by Alex Scharfman, this genre-bending film releases spring 2025.

Searchlight Pictures is developing Ready or Not 2, reuniting Samara Weaving and the Radio Silence filmmaking collective (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Chad Villella). The dark comedy horror sequel follows the success of the 2019 original, which grossed over $28 million. While plot details remain under wraps, Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy will return as writers, promising more suspense and social commentary. The film’s production team, including producers Tripp Vinson and James Vanderbilt, is also returning.
